Hi, I’m Marissa.

I’m a visual storyteller and public relations student working on the healing process.  I believe in the power of words, and I hope to use my words to make a difference.

My vision for this blog is to discuss the idea that makeup is antifeminist.  I wholeheartedly disagree with this, and I want to open a discussion about this perspective, and what we can do to enact change within the beauty industry.  Makeup is fun and can be empowering, which is what I want to focus on.

When not writing, I can be found taking pictures, learning Italian, listening to music on Spotify, at a yoga class, or as of this summer, traveling around Europe.

I enjoy yoga, art, print media and people who value authenticity.

You can find me on Twitter and Instagram.
